Register for English language classes – and/or upgrade your skills – via workshops, college and/or university. Settlement services offered through Prasanna Pathiraja Law (PPL) Settlement services are programs and services that help newcomers to Canada assimilate into Canadian society.
The services clients receive through PPL are confidential and assist clients to:
Look for a job (resumes, cover letters, career portfolios, and handling job interviews)
Become familiar with the local culture and customs; to ease the transition Into a new or unfamiliar environment.
Network and make new friends; to assist with job finding and community Building.
Assist clients in accessing government/community services.
Register for english language classes and skills other upgrading classes.
Understand individual rights and obligations in canada.
Prasanna Pathiraja Law is Attending a Pro Bono Refugee Service Session
Prasanna Pathiraja Law participated in Tamil Fest 2024, providing pro-bono legal services for refugees on August 24th and 25th. Invited by Dr. AMM Fahath, Executive Director of the Center for Peace Canada (CPA), the event highlighted the firm’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities. Tamil Fest, the largest Tamil street festival outside of the Indian subcontinent, brought together Torontonians to celebrate Tamil culture with traditional food, arts, and activities, all while promoting diversity and peace.
